Our R&D team, comprising around twenty engineers, doctors of physics and experienced technicians, analyses our customers’ technical specifications in detail and proposes optimised solutions to best meet their needs.

Based on our customers’ specifications, we carry out the entire design of our products and tooling. Our teams of R&D engineers, calculation engineers and mechanical designers have developed recognised expertise in mechanical design. They use Solidworks and numerical simulation using ANSYS and OPERA in a wide range of fields, including static and transient electromagnetism, superconductivity, cryogenics and ultra-high vacuum.

With over 40 years‘ experience and dozens of new projects every year, we work closely with our customers’ R&D departments on applications in a wide range of demanding environments, including high-energy physics, synchrotron light sources, hadrontherapy and nuclear fusion.

Our R&D activity also relies on our in-house testing resources (cryogenic, ultra-high vacuum, electrical), 3D metrology and magnetic measurements to prototype and validate our new technical solutions during the development phases, and to continuously increase our feedback and know-how in the design and manufacture of our products.
