Sigmaphi invited to the ‘Choose Édition France’ Summit
National recognition for a French company committed to innovation and technological sovereignty.
On 17 November 2025, Sigmaphi had the honour of being represented by its president, Sébastien Longelin, at the first edition of the ‘Choose France – Édition France’ summit, organised by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and several members of the Government. This event brings together French companies that invest in the country and contribute to its industrial and technological sovereignty.
The company’s trajectory is now widely recognised by private and public players. Now a world leader in a niche market, Sigmaphi exports 90% of its production manufactured in Vannes, while supporting the local economy: 75% of purchases are made in France, 50% of which are within 200 km.
Driven by sustained growth, the company now needs to modernise and expand its infrastructure, particularly to meet the growing needs of the nuclear fusion, research and medical sectors.
Thanks to the mobilisation of the regional ecosystem, notably Breizh Rebond and its banking partners, a new factory is under construction, representing an investment of €11 million. This decisive step confirms Sigmaphi’s central role in innovation and reindustrialisation in France.
This invitation highlights the event’s importance in the French industrial landscape. For more than six years, the Choose France Summit has been showcasing initiatives that enhance the country’s attractiveness and promoting industrial, technological and strategic projects deployed throughout France.
Through this new edition, organised at the Maison de la Chimie, the State wishes to reiterate the importance of investments made in France, whether in research, energy, health, industry or, more broadly, all sectors that contribute to the country’s economic and technological sovereignty.
